Camp Work

Although this work is not organised by Springfield Gospel Hall, many of our own young people give up their summers to go along to camps that are held for young people and act as leaders. We also have some of the young people who attend our childrens meetings attending as well.

The main one that we are involved in is run by an organisation called Tayside Christian Youth Camps (TCYC). During the weeks of July two camps are held, one for the Juniors (9-13) and one for the Seniors (13-18). These camps are held at Faskally House, Pitlochry.

During these weeks the children and teenagers are not only given a fantastic holiday, but they also come under the sound of the gospel message. They are also given a chance to live and work in a Christian environment. Many of the young people who attend as campers have no knowledge of what a Christian environment is and so it gives us the chance to show that we are normal people.
