Seaside Sunday School
(by the paddling pool)
In an age where very few children attend
an indoor Sunday School, we attempt to bring Sunday School
to children who are to be found at the seafront during the
summer months.
The children sit on a large groundsheet
and whilst the service is in progress many parents and adults
sit around in the proximity of the paddling pool and listen
attentively.
The biggest attraction is 'Puppets &
Co.' We provide puppet shows right throughout the summer
months. You cant miss us, just look for the big multi-coloured
puppet booth. Gospel choruses are enjoyed, there are many
eager participants for the Bible quizzes, and Bible stories
in the form of object lessons are well received. We have
come to know of a few children, who having attented these
open-air services, have subsequently given their hearts
to the Lord in later years.
